Você pode confiar em Deus “Pois a palavra do Senhor é verdadeira e podemos confiar em tudo que ele faz."
Salmos 33:4 (NVT).

Uma das grandes questões da vida é: "Em quem você vai confiar?" 

A maneira como você responde a essa pergunta determinará se você é feliz ou infeliz, se é bem sucedido ou fracassado, se faz de sua vida algo importante ou se a desperdiça.

Quem sempre tem em mente o melhor pra você? Quem te ajuda a tomar decisões importantes em sua vida? Você deve confiar na opinião popular? Isso pode não ser uma boa ideia, pois a opinião popular muda constantemente. Você deve confiar nas celebridades que definem as últimas tendências? As tendências mudam e os modismos desaparecem. Você deveria tomar as decisões mais importantes de sua vida com base no que lê nas redes sociais? Só porque aquilo está online, não significa que seja algo realmente fidedigno ou confiável.

Que tal confiar em você mesmo? A verdade é que nossas emoções podem nos enganar. A Bíblia diz:

"Ora, não há nada mais enganoso e irremediável do que o coração humano, e sua doença é incurável. Quem é capaz de compreendê-lo?"
Jeremias 17:9 (KJA). 

Quando vivemos por nossas emoções, podemos ser facilmente manipulados por outras pessoas e por nossas mudanças de humor.

Se você vai confiar sua vida e seu futuro a alguém ou algo, é melhor escolher alguém que tenha em seu coração, o melhor e mais puro interesse, que saiba de tudo, que seja perfeito e que nunca mentiria pra você. Isso meio que limita suas opções de escolha: a única opção é Deus.

Ninguém vai sempre te dizer a verdade. Eles vão ficar te enrolando. Eles vão filtrar. Eles vão fazer soar bem. Eles não vão te dizer o que você precisa ouvir. Mas o que você precisa ouvir é a verdade, porque é a verdade que te liberta. Mentiras sobre você mesmo, sobre os outros, sobre o mundo e sobre como a vida realmente é, isso apenas te mantém num cativeiro.

Para ser liberto, você deve obter a verdade. Como já disse muitas vezes, a verdade te libertará, mas primeiro te deixará infeliz. Não gostamos da verdade. Não queremos ouvir que a maioria dos problemas em nossas vidas foram causados ​​por decisões erradas. Não queremos ouvir que é a nossa própria teimosia, ego e insegurança que causam o estresse em nossas vidas, mas é a pura verdade.

O Salmo 33:4 diz: “Pois a palavra do Senhor é verdadeira e podemos confiar em tudo que ele faz" (NVT).

Deus disse isso e está resolvido, quer você acredite ou não. Deus não está esperando pela sua opinião para descobrir o que é certo e o que é errado. Se Deus diz isso, isso é a verdade.

Você pode confiar em Deus.

Saber que Deus nunca deixará de amá-lo, significa que você pode deixar de lado os seus medos. Ele está no controle e tem os melhores interesses em mente. Ele nunca vai abandonar você.

Não temos que ganhar o amor de Deus ou abrir caminho para o céu. A Bíblia diz: "Pois vocês são salvos pela graça, por meio da fé, e isto não vem de vocês, é dom de Deus; não por obras, para que ninguém se glorie" Efésios 2:8,9 (NVI).

A Bíblia diz que só podemos chegar ao céu confiando em Deus por meio de seu Filho, Jesus Cristo.

Se você não confiou em Jesus e ainda não se comprometeu a segui-lo, por que esperar mais? Se você está pronto para cruzar essa linha e tomar a decisão de crer em Jesus Cristo e segui-lo, faça esta oração:

“Querido Jesus, o Senhor prometeu que, se eu acreditar em ti, tudo o que fiz de errado será perdoado, aprenderei o propósito da minha vida, e um dia, o Senhor me aceitará em seu lar eterno no céu. Confesso agora o meu pecado e creio que o Senhor é o meu Salvador. 

O Senhor prometeu que se eu confessar meu pecado e confiar em ti, serei salvo. Confio em ti quando diz que a salvação vem pela graça, por meio da fé, e não por qualquer coisa que eu faça. Eu te recebo em minha vida como meu Senhor. Hoje estou entregando cada parte da minha vida para ti Senhor. Eu quero viver minha vida do jeito que o Senhor quiser.

Jesus, eu quero descansar no teu amor. Obrigado por não ter que merecê-lo ou trabalhar para isso. Quero usar o resto da minha vida para servi-lo em vez de servir a mim mesmo. Eu humildemente entrego minha vida a ti e peço que me salve e me aceite em sua família. Em seu nome eu oro. Amém."

  You can trust God "For the word of the Lord is true and we can trust everything he does."
  Psalm 33: 4 (NVT).

  One of life's big questions is, "Who are you going to trust?"

  How you answer this question will determine whether you are happy or unhappy, whether you are successful or unsuccessful, whether you make your life important or whether you waste it.

  Who always has the best in mind for you?  Who helps you make important decisions in your life?  Should you trust popular opinion?  This may not be a good idea, as popular opinion changes constantly.  Should you trust the celebrities who set the latest trends?  Trends change and fads disappear.  Should you make the most important decisions of your life based on what you read on social media?  Just because it is online does not mean that it is really trustworthy or reliable.

  How about trusting yourself?  The truth is that our emotions can deceive us. The Bible says:

  "Now, there is nothing more deceptive and irremediable than the human heart, and its disease is incurable. Who is able to understand it?"
  Jeremiah 17:9 (KJA).

  When we live by our emotions, we can be easily manipulated by other people and by our mood swings.

  If you are going to entrust your life and your future to someone or something, it is better to choose someone who has the best and purest interest in your heart, who knows everything, who is perfect and who would never lie to you. This kind of limits your options of choice: the only option is God.

  Nobody will ever tell you the truth.  They’ll be around you.  They will filter.  They will make it sound good.  They will not tell you what you need to hear.  But what you need to hear is the truth, because it is the truth that sets you free.  Lies about yourself, about others, about the world and about what life really is, it just keeps you in captivity.

  To be set free, you must obtain the truth.  As I have said many times, the truth will set you free, but first it will make you unhappy.  We don't like the truth.  We don't want to hear that most of the problems in our lives were caused by the wrong decisions.  We don't want to hear that it is our own stubbornness, ego and insecurity that cause stress in our lives, but it is the truth.

  Psalm 33: 4 says, "For the word of the Lord is true and we can trust everything he does" (NVT).

  God said that and it is resolved, whether you believe it or not.  God is not waiting for his opinion to find out what is right and what is wrong.  If God says so, that is the truth.

  You can trust God.

  ▪ What will you trust in God today?

  ▪ Why is it generally easier to believe the lies we hear from other people or the media, rather than trusting the truth of God?

  ▪ Do you accept the whole Word of God as truth?  Why yes or why not?

  ▪ Are you ready to trust Jesus?

  Knowing that God will never stop loving you means that you can let go of your fears.  He is in control and has the best interests in mind.  He will never abandon you.

  We don't have to win God's love or make way for heaven.  The Bible says, "For you are saved by grace, through faith, and this does not come from you, it is the gift of God; not by works, lest anyone boast" Ephesians 2:8,9 (NIV).

  The Bible says that we can only reach heaven by trusting God through His Son, Jesus Christ.

  If you have not trusted Jesus and have not yet committed to following Him, why wait any longer?  If you are ready to cross that line and make the decision to believe in Jesus Christ and follow him, say this prayer:

  “Dear Jesus, the Lord has promised that if I believe in you, everything I did wrong will be forgiven, I will learn the purpose of my life, and one day, the Lord will accept me into his eternal home in heaven.  I now confess my sin and believe that the Lord is my Savior.

  The Lord has promised that if I confess my sin and trust you, I will be saved.  I trust you when you say that salvation comes by grace, through faith, and not by anything I do.  I welcome you into my life as my Lord.  Today I am giving every part of my life to you, Lord.  I want to live my life the way the Lord wants.

  Jesus, I want to rest in your love.  Thank you for not having to earn it or work for it.  I want to use the rest of my life to serve you instead of serving myself.  I humbly give my life to you and ask you to save me and accept me into your family.  In your name I pray.  Amen."
